Who We Are

This website, steelbrio.com (the “Website”), is operated by SteelBrio (“SteelBrio”, “we”, “us” or “our”). SteelBrio is a structural steel project services brand operated from Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates. SteelBrio is a business name and is not currently incorporated as a registered company.

SteelBrio is responsible for the personal information described in this policy. For any question about this policy or your personal information, contact us at info@steelbrio.com.

Scope of This Policy

This policy applies to personal information we handle when you browse the Website and when you contact us directly by email or telephone about our services. It does not apply to third-party websites linked from the Website, which have their own privacy practices.

Where SteelBrio is engaged on a project, the handling of project information may also be governed by the agreement for that project.

Information We Collect

Information you send us

When you contact us by email or telephone, we receive the information you choose to share. This typically includes:

  • your name, job title and company;
  • your email address and telephone number;
  • the content of your message and our correspondence with you; and
  • any drawings, specifications, schedules or other documents you send, which may contain names and contact details of you or your colleagues.

Please do not send sensitive personal information (for example, health or identity document details) unless we have specifically asked for it.

Information collected automatically

When you visit the Website, our hosting provider’s servers automatically record technical information needed to deliver and protect the Website. This may include your IP address, browser and device type, the pages requested, the referring page, and the date and time of the request.

What the Website does not collect

The Website does not offer user accounts, online payments, contact or quotation forms, newsletters or file uploads. The search function uses the words you enter only to display matching pages; we do not use searches to identify you.

How We Use Information and Our Legal Grounds

We use personal information only for the following purposes:

  • Responding to enquiries — to review your request, ask clarifying questions and prepare a response or proposal. We do this because you asked us to, or to take steps before entering into an agreement with you.
  • Managing projects and business relationships — to communicate about and deliver services that have been agreed. We do this to perform our agreement with you or your organisation, or for our legitimate interest in running our business.
  • Coordinating with qualified partners — to obtain technical input, pricing or availability needed to answer your enquiry or deliver an agreed scope. We do this for our legitimate interest in providing the service you requested.
  • Operating and securing the Website — to deliver pages, prevent misuse and resolve technical problems. We do this for our legitimate interest in keeping the Website available and secure.
  • Meeting legal obligations — to keep records or respond to lawful requests where the law requires it.

Where the law that applies to you requires consent for a particular use, we will ask for it, and you may withdraw your consent at any time.

Email Communications

Enquiries are handled primarily by email through info@steelbrio.com and, for project correspondence, sales@steelbrio.com. Emails and attachments are stored with the provider that hosts our email accounts for as long as they are needed for the purposes described in this policy.

We do not currently send marketing newsletters. If we decide to do so, we will ask for your consent where the law requires it and every message will include a way to unsubscribe.

Email is not a fully secure means of communication. If you need to share confidential project documents, please let us know so that we can agree an appropriate way to exchange them.

Hosting and Technical Logs

The Website runs on WordPress and is hosted by Hostinger, which also provides the content delivery network that serves the Website. Hostinger processes the technical information described above, including server logs, to operate, secure and optimise its hosting services.

Server logs are retained according to the hosting provider’s standard settings. We do not use them to build profiles of individual visitors.

Cookies and Third-Party Services

Based on our review of the Website’s configuration on the date shown above:

  • the Website does not use analytics, advertising, social media tracking or marketing cookies;
  • pages do not load scripts, fonts or embedded content from third-party services; and
  • comments are disabled, so no comment cookies are set.

WordPress sets technical cookies only when an authorised administrator logs in to manage the Website. Our hosting and content delivery provider may use strictly necessary technical cookies or similar mechanisms for security and performance.

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings. Because the Website does not rely on cookies for its public content, doing so should not affect how the pages display.

If we introduce analytics or other non-essential cookies in future, we will update this policy and request consent where the law requires it.

How We Share Information

We do not sell personal information. We share it only in the following circumstances:

  • Service providers — such as our website hosting and email providers, who process information on our behalf to provide their services.
  • Qualified project partners — such as engineering, detailing, fabrication, supply, inspection or logistics partners, where this is necessary to answer your enquiry or deliver an agreed scope. We share only the information they need and, where appropriate, discuss this with you first.
  • Legal and protective reasons — where required by law, regulation or a lawful request, or to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.

International Data Transfers

SteelBrio is operated from the United Arab Emirates and works with clients and partners in other countries. Our service providers and project partners may therefore process personal information outside the country where you are located, including outside the United Arab Emirates. Where information is transferred internationally, we take reasonable steps to ensure it remains protected in line with the law that applies to the transfer.

How Long We Keep Information

We keep personal information only for as long as it is reasonably needed for the purposes described in this policy. This includes handling your enquiry, delivering any resulting project, and meeting legal, accounting or dispute-resolution requirements. When information is no longer needed, we delete it or anonymise it.

Information Security

We use reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect personal information, including encrypted HTTPS connections to the Website, restricted administrative access and regularly updated website software. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

Your Privacy Rights

Depending on the law that applies to you, you may have the right to:

  • ask for a copy of the personal information we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete information;
  • ask us to delete your information;
  • object to, or ask us to restrict, certain uses of your information;
  • receive your information in a portable format; and
  • withdraw consent where we rely on it.

To make a request, email info@steelbrio.com. We may need to verify your identity before responding, and we will respond within the time required by applicable law. You may also have the right to complain to the data protection authority where you live or work.

Children

The Website is intended for business users and is not directed at children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when our services, the Website or applicable requirements change. The updated version will be published on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
